Our Products

Premium wild Alaska seafood, handled with care.

Every fish we harvest gets the same careful treatment. We bleed and gut each one by hand on deck. Then we chill it quickly in liquid ice. This protects texture and flavor. It keeps your fish fresh for up to 17 days after harvest. The result is seafood that tastes cleaner and stays firmer than standard handled fish.

Kaia Seafoods offers the following premium products:

Pacific Cod

Our premier product, Kaia Cod, is Pacific cod wild caught in Alaskan waters. Each fish is handled in a slurry ice bath to maintain peak freshness and premium meat. The result is cod that stays firm and bright white with clean, sweet flavor. No fishy taste. No mushy texture.

Available Formats: Fresh (chilled in slurry ice), Frozen, Whole fish, Fillets, Custom orders (portions, sizes, packaging)

Best Uses: Fish and chips, tacos, chowder, baked dishes

Halibut

Halibut is known for its mild flavor and firm texture. But poor handling can make it tough or watery. Our slurry ice method keeps halibut at its best. The flesh stays firm without becoming rubbery. The flavor remains sweet and clean.

Kaia Halibut is available fresh (chilled in slurry ice), frozen, as whole fish, as fillets, as steaks, or as custom orders for specific portions, sizes, and packaging needs. Our careful handling means no bruising from ice or rough treatment, so you get consistent texture throughout the fillet. The extended shelf life delivers restaurant-grade fish to home cooks and chefs alike.

Best Uses: Grilled steaks, fish tacos, ceviche, baked dishes

Black Cod

Black cod (also known as Sabelfish) is one of Alaska's most prized fish. It has rich, buttery flesh with high omega-3 content. Our slurry ice handling method protects these delicate oils. The result is black cod that melts in your mouth with deep, clean flavor.

Kaia Black Cod is available fresh (chilled in slurry ice), frozen, as whole fish, as fillets, or as custom orders for specific portions, sizes, and packaging needs. The slurry ice preserves the natural oils so the fish stays moist and tender with no oxidation or off flavors.

Best Uses: Miso glazed, smoked, pan-seared, or grilled
