Where Legacy Meets a Better Way Forward

Kaia Seafoods was founded in Homer, Alaska, by a multigenerational fishing family with deep roots in the region’s halibut, sablefish, salmon, and crab fisheries. Generations have been raised on the water, instilling values of stewardship, hard work, and pride in every fish harvested.

Kaia was born from firsthand frustration: Pacific cod, despite its abundance, was being undervalued and poorly handled. The team set out to do things differently — not just for better fish, but for better livelihoods.
